Translation and the BK Nets asked Versus to reimagine the traditional hype film, both visually and conceptually.
And to capture the feeling of what it means to rep Brooklyn.
We approached the film through the eyes and perspectives of Brooklyn’s youth
Their diverse, restless, optimistic and full-of-life nature parallels our film and the team, capturing the hopefulness of a season and the love of Brooklyn
Leaning into the diverse nature that is Brooklyn, we brought the film to life with more than just live action, but a full mixed medium experience. We mixed design, hand drawn animation, visual effects, with any and everything else that the Versus team had up its sleeve.
